Hepatitis A is a highly contagious liver infection spread through contaminated food and water.
It is one of the most common travel-related illnesses, even at high-end resorts. Vaccination is a safe, effective way to protect yourself.
Vaccine details
Who needs it
Anyone traveling to Mexico, the Caribbean, Central and South America, Africa, or Asia should be vaccinated, particularly children, seniors, and those with liver conditions.
When to get it
Begin your vaccine series at least two weeks before departure. One dose provides short-term protection, and a second dose six to twelve months later provides long-term immunity.
What to expect
Our team will administer your first dose in clinic and schedule your follow-up as per the required intervals. Hepatitis A is also available as a combination vaccine with Hepatitis B (TWINRIX) for broader coverage.
